I’m a freelance full-stack developer and digital strategist originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I didn’t come from a tech family. I had no formal training, no mentor, and no roadmap. Every skill I have, web development, SEO, branding, GEO, digital strategy, was built from scratch through years of real work, real failures, and real results.
I started SMC Designs in the early 2020s, working with businesses in Kinshasa before expanding across Africa, into Europe, and eventually into the United States. That journey across cultures, industries, and markets gave me something no classroom could: the ability to understand what a business actually needs and build exactly that.
Today based in Detroit, focused on building real digital solutions for businesses ready to grow. Let’s build something solid together!
