Purpose
This Data Processing Agreement governs the processing of personal data by SMC Designs when providing services to clients.
Roles
- Client: Data Controller
- SMC Designs: Data Processor (unless otherwise agreed)
Processing Activities
We process data only to:
- Deliver contracted services
- Provide support
- Develop websites and software
- Implement AI solutions
- Perform analytics and reporting
Security Measures
SMC Designs implements reasonable technical and organizational safeguards including:
- Access controls
- Encryption where appropriate
- Secure cloud storage
- Authentication controls
- Regular software updates
Subprocessors
Trusted third-party providers may be used for hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, communications, payments, and AI services.
International Transfers
Where data is transferred internationally, reasonable safeguards will be implemented in accordance with applicable law.
Data Subject Rights
SMC Designs will assist clients, where reasonably possible, in responding to requests relating to access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of processing.
